On October 30, 2018, the International Center for Transport Diplomacy (ICTD) introduced its priorities and educational and other programs at the Roundtable Briefing held at the UN Headquarters, co-organized by the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the United Nations. The Briefing – co-hosted by UN DESA, UN OHRLLS, SuM4All Consortium of the World Bank and ICTD – analyzed the progress in implementation of SDGs in transport related areas since the Ashkhabad Conference on Sustainable Transport and provided a number of concrete recommendations. In particular, H.E. Mrs. Aksoltan Ataeva Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN, informed participants about its recent initiative to host the Second UN Conference on Sustainable Transport in Turkmenistan, which was supported by a number of delegations from Member States . .
